Needless to say... The Lake District was beautiful. Here is just a handful of the million photos I took. Everything was so green and lush. Little beautiful mushrooms growing everywhere. I felt like I was in fairy land. I did not want to come home. I had such a wonderful time with Justin, Cath and Alan. I got to go for a ride in a row boat with Justin at the helm. I got to climb a waterfall, climb a mountain (Catbells) P.S. that is where Miss. Tiggywinkle lives. I got to sit and have tea at Beatrix Potters tea room. Oh and did I mention that the house we stayed at was an old victorian home, that Beatrix Potter would stay at on Holidays and wrote, Miss Tiggywinkle, Squirrel Nutkin, and Tom Kitten. It was so nostalgic to wake up in the home of where my favorite childhood stories were written. I felt my grandmother with me and wish she could have been there with me to experience it all... She use to read those stories to me as a small child. I miss her so much and wish she could have met Justin... It was a beautiful trip and am blessed that Cath thought of us to go with her. Thank you Cath... It meant a lot to us.
Cath and Alan walking to the waterfall.
Beautiful waterfall. It was dark under all the trees and a overcast day. Wish I could have gotten a brighter photo for you all.
Go Justin go!!
