A beautiful walk

It was such a beautiful day, so Justin and I went on a walk. It is hard for me to pull him away from his studies, but he needed some sunlight. We went and visited our favorite animal friends. It is nice to go on these romantic walks together. It reminds us what we are working so hard for.... More moments like this in our future.

Birmingham and the Warwickshire countryside

Romantic Weekend Getaway Feb-19-21

Justin and I are going to Birmingham to watch the Arsenal soccer game next weekend. I looked for a Historic Castle Hotel and this is what came up. I feel in love and had to stay there. So next weekend we pack up and go for a little adventure in a castle!! I can't wait to take photos of this place and the gardens!!

Studley was a anglo-saxon settlement mentioned in the Doomsday book servey (1086), where an old castle was built on a site near the present St Mary's church. Thought to have been a 17th century building it was ruinous when Francis Lyttleton-Holyoake purchased the adjoining land in the 1833

Valentines Day Dinner

Tonight Justin and I finally went to The Mitre Beefeater. We have been wanting to go there for a while. Candlelight dinner in a pub/restaurant dating back to 1227 as a Coaching Inn. We had our beer and cider in the pub and then ate dinner in the restaurant. The sweet potato soup was wonderful and the burgers were great. Justin got the fudge Chocolate cake while I got the Profiteroles with fudge

drizzled on top with ice cream!!

near birmingham, UK!!

My husband and I decided we needed a night out together. So we did a Movie and a dinner. It was wonderful getting out of the house and spending time together. I need to do this more often. It helps lift my spirits and reconnect with the love of my life. Plus Jamie Oliver's Espresso Martini did not hurt either :)
